It seems that there are some people who just don't handle alcohol well. I am always glad to hear of someone who can recognize that and put it in the past. For many it is a struggle.
In my years of fire and rescue I saw a lot more people messed up by alcohol than anything else. Never saw a domestic violence situation where the violent person was a reefer head.
I actually never saw a vehicle collision where the only substance used was cannabis, and we had a lot of weed where I was. I better stop before I get flagged for being political...

And, of course, meth. An extremely destructive drug. I end up feeling sorry for some of the meth heads they show. I had a girlfriend who was into that stuff. I shudder to think about it.

I had a good ride yesterday, felt better on the bike than the previous Saturday, for sure. When this happens I tend to overdo it and act like I'm 55 again.
I think there were about 20 of us, maybe more, and some only wanted 50ish and when they turned back I started harassing them. Especially this one lady who drops me at will. I teased her about being a wuss and I think she took me serious. I don't really know her all that well so I backpedaled a bit and she finally smiled. It's hard enough for women to do this stuff and train to a fairly high level without some geezer giving her grief if she needs to turn back.
Anyway I'm tired and I need to decide on a ride before it starts raining again.

I am near the end of my Remicade cycle (infusion Wednesday) and don't feel great in the mornings before the prednisone kicks in.
Thanks for asking!

Does the above routing look correct. I feel like such a dumb ass, I thought the lines coming out of the back of the hoods were the shifting, the cables coming out of the top of the hoods were brakes. Thank god I don’t own a pair of cable cutters, I couldn’t get the cables routed last night, wouldn’t fit through the routing holes.

Will the Bills rally and win? Or are they too emotionally drained?
If only they weren't facing the Fighting Corkles.

Also, I still haven't gotten the cable in the groove thing under the bottom bracket.

I can't tell what I'm seeing. BUT, I'd run fresh cables and housing - I do that on every used bike I get. Mostly, I use JagWire Sport, with the polished stainless cables, and all the housing the same color. I rout the housing and tape it to the bar before I even think about cutting.
I talked to the owner of my LBS, who said basically the shortest cable run that doesn't stop the fork turning. So, on an old STI setup like that, the shifter cables should kiss without overlapping. Brake cable should be long enough not to bind, but should run straight into the barrel adjusters, not make S-bends.

I had that problem with the Litespeed, which has channels on the BB. I shifted to the largest cog, then stopped pedaling and clicked the shifter down enough to put slack in the cable, popped it into the groove, and then clicked it back up to match the derailleur.

That is a problem as well. We like to say that if you see an iPad at the counter you’re about to tip for something that you’ve never tipped before.
There are a couple of small locally owned restaurants around that I would like to see stay around. I’ll tip at those even though you order at a counter, and all they do is bring you the order.

My debt card has been skimmed/hacked 3 times. I've never Payed a cent. The second time a guy hit 3 T-Mobile stores with my debit card info, paid off 3 accounts and purchased several new phones. Since I am with T-mobile as my carrier I also had the pleasure of calling and informing them of what happened . So it wouldn't effect my account.

Yikes! Remicade worked really well for me until it didn’t. I’ve been on Entyvio for 4+ years now and have been in remission the whole time (knocks on wood). I can’t imagine having a serious flare with a 2 year old.

Gorgeous weather today, and it is unclear whether I will be able to get out. I posted. back at the beginning of Winter, that, come Summer, I can never figure out why I ride so little in the beautiful winter weather. Now I know. I'm keeping myself busy and still falling behind on my projects. It's a time issue. Why I have more time in the summer I can't say. Perhaps I am simply more driven in the summer. Winter has always been for re-charging. And it is a very easy thing to fall into in this weather.

Well that's one way to start things.
