Dang! During a lull in house painting gigs, I spent a couple of weeks washing cars at a Toyota/Mitsu/etc dealership in Oregon and they washed EVERY car in for service, even those just in for an oil change. I only got to drive a couple of Porsches though, and they were both front engine - 928 and a 944. Best car I got in was an Evo IV.
At the Porsche shop, they will even run it through if you just pull in and ask for it. Too far to go for a car wash though. Plus, my OCD requires me to wash my car by hand.

That's the spirit.
Occasionally, I have left a few souvenirs when they parked squarely in the middle of leaf operations (under the oak trees), but nothing like that. Amateur hour.
You should have an off-line chat with the never-ending problem people so this thread stays on topic.

That stuff is stuck on there because the car was a little wet when they did it. The insult to injury is that I pay them for their "work."

After I posted that she said something like "I guess I better look for no suspension then". It's not what I suggested. I told her to look for something light with 100mm of suspension. They can afford it and she will be happier with a bike around 25 pounds, as opposed to a 32 pound enduro bike which would be silly for her purposes.
She has no real experience with mountain biking, just dirt roads and a few flat trails. I could link something I think would be appropriate but I tried that last time.

Hooo boy. Wonder what kind of work needs doing on the Giant. Most work is pretty easy on 20-year-old MTBs. Finding fork/shock seals etc can be tough, but the rebuilds are usually fairly easy.
There's still plenty of good 26er tyres out there. For XC/gravel these are pretty good:

When I had my K2 the rear shock blew up Noleen was in some kind of dispute with K2 so they wouldn't help. I bought a custom shock from Risse Racing and it was lighter and worked way better than the Noleen ever did. When I broke the frame I took the shock off and gave it to a friend who just happened to have a similar bike.

Published in audio format only, and originally aired on public radio. Lots of straight listeners there. They were later released as cds. Whoever put them on YouTube added the trippy video.
The point was that these folks had custom built AI androids in their heads back in the mid 80s.

They have been all over the place here. There is nothing sacred about Addiction which would inspire them to discriminate.
