Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I get to rant!

So my bike has been making a click sound when pedaling can't figure out what it may be. So took the bike to my LBS where I bought it they checked it out said it was fine, well I test road it and still clicks. Then the RANT they took apart the BB to check stuff out and scraped the outer casing of the BB. So now on my black carbon bike i have a 1/4" of aluminum shining through. I told the mechanic "this isn't going to fly" he said ok I'll get the owner and have him look at it. Well the owner was in the back doing paper work too busy to come out and look so he will look at it tommorrow.

Not a huge deal (the scrape) but obvious someone doesn't take the care to work on a bike, plus not even a "hey man I slipped my wrench and did this to your bike".
So I'm a bit peeved don't know what to do, I don't want a bike i paid $2600 bucks for that has less than 200 miles on it an is all bunged up. So I'm either going down before they close or in the morning to see what he will do. What do you guys/gals think?

I'd have told the wrench that I was going to wait until the owner came out. No way I'd have tolerated the owner hiding in back "doing paperwork". A clumsy wrench and an indifferent owner = an LBS to steer clear of.

Is this where you bought the bike? If so that's the antithesis of "service after the sale".
