Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pffft! 56 years for the Toronto Maple Laughs Leafs. Wealthiest team in the NHL; can't buy a Stanley Cup. Cue the anguished introspection.

Harden was just about a zero in one earlier game - mind boggling how mentally bad he appeared to be in that game - especially for a seasoned vet / elite player

he played much better after that - but then apparently he disappeared again (?) - I don’t know did not watch the last game

someone (?) allowed Tatum to go for 50+ - again I didn’t watch the game but that’s obviously not good ... Tatum had earlier struggles but he came up big when it counted

Embid appeared to be playing injured or at least was hurting

I see all the Canadian NHL teams have been elimidated from the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The greatest streak in professional sport is extended another year.

1961 SeaWitch Ketch
I am not the owner, but, I do have his permission to post this and I'll tag him below in the comments for quick contact. This is a 1963 Sea Witch Ketch 38'. It ran aground about a week ago and took on water through the port holes on the port side. No holes in the hull but does need extensive work but has very solid bones. She's well placed upon the ground so if you want her you'll need to be prepared. She has a lot of history and well worth a shot at another 60 years sailing the waters.

I'm certainly glad it's not in Lake Pleasant or Havasu, and the posting wasn't made in late fall, or I might have been tempted to do something really stupid

I imagine it's like old cars, only worse, and more expensive - someone buys an old boat as a project, does a little work, buys some parts. Down the road either they tire of it, or they're downsizing to move to a retirement community, or they croak and someone else buys the whole thing, just as a project...

Lather, rinse, repeat.
