Addiction 2023.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think you have come to the wrong conclusion.
I mowed all afternoon, including some push mower on the banks, and there was no threat of any sweating activity today.

Also, an ancient oak fell down across the street this week.

Yes. I finally got IT to fix it, they messed around with my keyboard settings and it’s fixed. I have no idea what caused the problem but maybe I hit a control-key accidentally. Or else gremlins.

Hey seedsbelize2 I just did a telemedicine visit with a patient of mine who spent 3 months in Yucatán earlier this year. She says it was fantastic.

That... makes no sense though. But I'm not technically actually IT as such.

And FWIW, I would have also assumed "pisser" was a bad thing, and was surprised because I've only and always heard good about the Mazda3.

On my iPhone it takes me to page 1 of this thread for a second, then back here.

This doesn't address the fact that the forecast, save for one day, is above average temperature. SMH.

It first takes you to the thread, then to the quoted post. Sounds like the second half is guiding it wrong on your phone.

The mobile web remains terrible; film at 11.

Ok I tried it with an older quote, it takes me to page 1 then the quote. I don’t know if this “feature” was turned on intentionally but will abide.

Got it. But seems stoopid to quote from a different thread (I am sure there are rare instances where it might make sense) so I am still underwhelmed.

I have three bailout gears with the Ekar groupset. The first three cogs are 30-36-42 and with a 38 tooth chain ring I don't find myself spending much time in any of those three.

In normal years by mid-May there would be days that would make you think, "Summer is almost here! "

We haven't had one of those this year.

I am too. I believe it came from when they made the endless-scroll option; it has to load the thread, then takes you where you should be, no matter what. Including creating the "page" view. 'Tis dumb, and 'tis so specifically because of mobile web. Yet another reason I'd like to go take the early iPhone prototype and drown it in a fish tank.

Arrows have always been there for me, but the arrows got a re-design today. The display of first page, then loading of quoted post has been around for a while, too.
