This Spectrum ride that the OP wants to test the bike on, is it a 2 or 3 hour ride? If it's a 3 hour tour, the bike shop will never get the bike back. It will be lost.

Last I knew, Larry was able to hang with the Spectrum ride for about 6 miles. He may have improved on that, but I don't think he's doing the whole ride in any case.

I can't decide between the carbon fiber Ginger or the all-road CrMo Mary Ann. Someone just tried to show me a Ms. Howell, but I don't do vintage...

Yeah, but if not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost.
The Minnow would be lost.....

TheS.S. Minnow was jokingly named after Newton Minow, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, who had infamously described television as “a vast wasteland.”

That was quality programming. Who can forget the episode when the Mosquitoes got temporarily stranded on the island. The Honeybees put on an outstanding performance.

I'm leaning towards my next purchase being a nicer bike. A wabi classic or special (I wonder if the hand brazed special is stronger?) or a tri-bike that has 650c wheels. Ive been looking at craigslist and eBay and am drawn towards the Softride Powerwing or something similar as some seem to be in my size. Want to put my Spinergies on it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/12593732375...Bk9SR-zchfqGYg I heard these bikes have a seatpost that isn't rigid, and will bounce around unless you pedal smoothly. Seems like a really cool feature, exposes you.
most of these tri bikes have ridiculous "cockpits" though, id have to take all that stuff off and put some drop bars or flat bars on it.
