Tubolito Road 18-28
I recently ordered Tubolito Road 18-28 tubes as spares for my tubeless Continental 5000s 30-622 tires. But I did not realize that the tube specification says 18-28 and my new tires are 30mm. Do you think it will stretch to 30mm OK? Did anyone have such experience? The link is below:

I was wondering about this too. I expect they will be fine for emergency use at the relatively low pressure involved. But would be useful if someone has tried them.

Oh yeah, it’ll stretch to fill for sure. Check out YouTube for vids of guys blowing up Tubolitos huge.
The questions, then, are 1) will oversizing the Tubolito impact its performance characteristics, and if so, do those changes have a negative impact on what I want it to do?
Personally, I’d go with it without worry. First, it’s pretty unlikely you’ll even need it, and if you do it’ll probably be to give to another needy rider. Also, though, I think that with the kind of tire volume variation we see just based on rim inner width, that a couple of millimeters isn”t a big deal. Maybe— worst case— tube wall thickness goes down when oversizing and maybe some durability and puncture resilience is lost in so doing, but if it’s just a temp solution to get you through a day or two, I don’t think that’s a significant problem.

Interesting... I tried, but was not able to find a video like this. There are some Tubolito reviews, but I did not find a stretch resistance test.

The more I think about it, the more I think it will be fine. The tube can clearly stretch out and the pressure will be lower. I only intend to get one as an ultra-compact emergency spare. I've had zero use for a tube in the last 3 years of running tubeless road tyres. I don't even carry a spare tube at the moment, but would be nice to have one of these as a back-up. I find normal tubes a bit too bulky to carry in a jersey and I prefer not to run even a small saddle bag.

A much smaller Tubolito in a pocket seems like a better solution to the saddle pack.
