Addiction 2023.3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For undisclosed reasons this song resonates with me today.

Then comes the day when you're about to head out and your head unit won't pick up your cadence sensor, so you swap it out for a different one from another bike.

OR, you have 10 bikes and 4 pairs of speed and cadence sensors.

But, yeah - it's a pain to have to remember to switch bikes in Strava.

I never created bike profiles for any of my bikes. I just use starva to track bike usage. I have enough problems with my garmin unit.

"Starva"? Sounds like a great name for a Calorie Tracking app!

The power went out for a minute (hours after the storm ) midway through the process, but it looks like my application still went through. They only give you 45 minutes and then you have to start over.

Actually had wonderful weather in Boulder today, while Austin looks to be roasting. Haven't had a chance to catch up. Hope the storms passed safely for everyone.
