Addiction 2023.3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I know it's a fool's errand trying to make sense of snoozeball, but why do the Red Sox wear a uniform that not only lacks red stockings, but has not red whatsoever?

Why do the Lakers play away from the state known for its lakes?

And what the hell happened to the Tonawanda Kardex?

Still want a super shower.
We are considering a bathroom refresh. When we do it, a more ballerish shower is on the agenda.

They moved from Minneapolis in 1960. Can't help with the Kardex.

Going fast with good riders around you is awesome, ain’t it? Awesome that you’re back at it.

NBA should change the Wizards back to the Bullets, call LA the Wizards and call the Jazz the Bees.

What if all the sports teams that have moved had to leave the name in the city where it started?

The Jazz really should be Nawlins.

I do know this, yes. As with the Kardex. My intent was that one or two people might look up bits of the ancient history of the NFL.

Maybe I should have gone with "What are the LA Dodgers dodging?"

Frame is the heart and soul of the bike.

So I vote bikes.

The wife is heading north in a couple days. Getting some relief from this heat. I really looked forward to it, and really enjoyed the break when I was there in June. Back up to 100° today. I'm with Vol. The year with no summer. Eternal spring, spring being the hottest time of the year

By that logic, a bicycle with a broken chain or missing front tire is not a bike.

Fun fact: apparently in the UK, the word crap is possibly more offensive than the other word.

Also, the "c" word in the UK is not nearly as inflammatory as it is in the USA.

Some A hole emailed me to tell me “oops you put your bike listing in parts, delete and repost”

My response: Frame set, it’s important to read.
