Difference between Triban RC100 and B'twin Triban 100?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Difference between Triban RC100 and B'twin Triban 100?

Hi all, new here.
I am looking at buying either a new Triban RC100 or a used B'twin Triban 100... the thing is, I cannot find the difference of the two bikes. Does anyone know?

Yes, I cannot afford anything else than that. I am aware that it is a cheap bike. I'm hoping it does the job. (The job being some light touring on paved, poorly paved, and maybe a bit of gravel roads in Europe).

Much much appreciated!

This might answer your question: https://www.cyclingweekly.com/group-...l-bikes-371063

Here's a old review of the B'twin: https://road.cc/content/review/decat...ad-bike-250460

Yes, they're low-end, but it sure sounds like they would be good for what you want to do. Get out there and ride, and if you really like it start saving & looking around for something used that is a step up. Stay safe and have fun!

I think you have your answer to the difference, above.
I'm adding, because I also have a Triban which I ride when I'm in Germany. The one I have is the Gravel version of the RC120 - one large step above the RC100 model.
I am quite impressed of the excellent value and quality of the Triban Grvl 120, after quite some miles, it rides and works well.
Looking at the RC100, it seems that it also might be a good bike for the cost. However the single 44 front chainring with the rear 7 spd cogs 12-28 will provide a 'challenge' if one is riding some steeper and longer hills.
The next step up to the RC120 road bike would good, if you plan to keep the bike for a longer period. read the user reviews for the RC100 on the Decathlon site.
Usually I always say that one can get a good value bike for much less than new cost.
But in this case, given the Cost of a NEW RC100, I would hesitate to recommend a 'used' version', unless the used bike is absolutely in 'like new' condition. If you're not certain, and the used bike has some issues you might not find or be aware of, a trip to the Bike shop to have repairs made could make it much costlier than a 'New' purchase.
ANd then you'd still have a 'used' bike with future eariler needed work and possible repairs.
Buy the NEW RC100, unless you're absolutely convinced the 'used' bike is as good...
