Addiction 2023.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh yes. I watched almost two episodes (it was a continued one). Quite entertaining. Love how they make their dopey plots so dramatic.
The Hoff! The plot was only so they could show the slow mo running

Mrs. Dan has a cousin who worked for Hasslehoff as a singer. Not sure about the details... Mrs. Dan posted the link

We had the piano that Mrs. rjones28 grew up playing, until a couple of years ago. She passed it on to our niece. 6 foot grand. Seen here during a rehearsal of a piano trio she wrote for the players pictured.

No acoustic piano at the moment.

good times … both are in their 20’s now
Vince Guaraldi is the jazz pianist behind the peanuts stuff and he was quite good. I particularly enjoyed his latin jazz work (see below). Over Lilly's first couple weeks when I was totally off work, I picked up some sheet music for this cute/simple track titled after the pianist in the Peanuts series. It's quite fun to play (second track):

She goes out in the marina parking lot and look! there's a shiny BayWatch truck with a first aid kit. As she's in the process of getting the kit, The Hoff (Mitch) returns to the truck. She forces him at gunpoint to go to the boat to help her boyfriend, because he's in the business of saving people.

Mitch, being a fully trained lifeguard, then proceeds to use his skills and conducts a surgery to extract the bullet.

Later, the BayWatch law enforcement crew locates the boat, Mitch frees himself from a handcuff (unclear where that came from), and the lawbreaking couple is captured.

Everybody knows how to remove a bullet. Just need a pocket knife.
