Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

32 american tomorrow am, and I am supposed to do 3.5 hours of zone 2. Should be fun.

In other news it’s been WW3 at my house for the past 2 weeks due to the holidays. Honestly, I can’t take it anymore.

Yep, that was my second guess. Never hiked that thing. I've ridden a road bike around it a couple times, and just by it on Invergordon many a time.

No wonder the USPS is losing money....I have been had several orders from BTD which is about 500 miles from me (they are in Portland I am in Missoula) every time this is the route....Portland to Spokane, Spokane to Missoula, Missoula to BIllings and Billings to Spokane and then back to Missoula....I get stuff faster ordering direct from Japan ie ordering from Circles cycling than I do from Portland..It is not just BTD but I have also ordered from Sims works and Rene Herse in Seattle which basically takes the same route....Fedex or UPS don't have such screwed up shipping routes..Oh if I order from Salt Lake which is the same distance I usually have it the next day. The very first time this happened I thought the package just got in the wrong truck but it has happened every time....

If it makes you feel better, UPS has held my wheels hostage in CO the last 3 days.

I use an Italian coffee maker. AKA stovetop espresso.

The first family homestead in Ohio, on my dad’s side, got its foundation stone delivered via the Erie Canal. Fun fact.
I can’t speak to the elevation issue.

So far today I have had exactly 1/2 cup of coffee.
Kudos.
For tomorrow I’ve made a 50:50 blend of robusta and arabica. Vamos a ver

eliquis is $6,000/year at the insurance price. It goes generic in 2027 i believe. Now I'm doing a baby aspirin a day which is $5/year.

Many schools of thought in the medical field. Coincidentally, I saw my cardiologist today for a check up. She told me to get cardia mobile and send her my abnormal results via a secure patient portal.

I saw one of those Cybertrucks IRL a month or so back. Rattled like a son of a *****. Like it was carrying a crap ton of chains loose in the bed or something.

"Buying" in what sense? In the sense of putting down deposits? Or actually ever receiving one?
