Addiction 2023.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm not an expert, but my favorites are the Rapha bibs. I like blue as well.

This doesn't even include those that are on reserve of which there are two types. Then the whole bidding system....

Never sat reserve, commuting is for the dogs. Commuting makes me not want to go to work. If I lived in base my life would be completely different. Conversations been had, and were not moving, soon instead of an hour drive followed by an hour sit followed by a 45 min flight will be replaced by a 90 min- 6 hour drive depending on the day.

What my family and many others fail to understand is I am not home every night so the things the average person get to take care of when they get off I cannot do, example cut the grass, work on the yard, clean something take care of the kids…… So when I am off I have to do all that plus more.

People view it as I am off so I should be free, and having the same conversations over and over is exhausting.

Team store just opened. Currently only have one kit.

Plan on buying another jersey, bibs, long sleeve jersey, vest and a technical shirt for gravel. They have skin suits too, but those things are expensive and I just don’t think I would wear it.

Currently trying to figure out what size I should get, the sizing chart, I don’t match anything. I know it should be tight for racing but my shoulders are so damn wide, and I’m not that skinny……..

1. You take me off your Christmas list
2. You say I'm not sensitive
3. Repeatedly asking me questions that do not deserve answers

I'm beginning to think you are kicking an old neighbor when he's down.
