Addiction 2023.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I also don’t enjoy classical music. Or opera. Or country. Or hip, hop, or rap. Or jazz. The horror! I am a pure rock and roll and blues head. I will do a little bluegrass. And I enjoy the local Mexican cumbia music.

Not all of the people have enjoyed it for 100 years.

Or even one year.

Like bike saddles, music is a very personal thing. Doesn't matter how old or new it is or how many millions of others love it. If you don't like it that's what matters.

But….but….Trek told us this was the biggest advancement for cycling in 30 years!

How soon they forget.

Bam, you listening?
I suspect that may be less cost-effective than buying a new one at retail.

They are still pushing wave cell. Wouldn’t be surprised if it offers protection using crush zones.

This helmet is supposed to be its lightest and most ventilated.

I don’t have any desire to ever claim “crash damage.”

I like some examples of almost every genre. And sometimes I have to be in the mood for something.

The time is always right for this though.
