Addiction 2023.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This is one of those guys who says all news is lies. I think he believes whatever fits into his prejudices. I like to ask these people if all news is lies, where do they get the information they have? I wasn't going to get into it during a ride but I did call bs on one of his stupid claims. He admitted his source was that he had heard other people saying it.

Agree. I used to think it was some kind of training magic, but I have come to question even strict power targets for intervals. As Andy Coggan or somebody says, “if it feels hard, it is hard.”

Come to think of it, maybe that was LSS.

Muscle tear? Hope it’s minor whatever it is.

Mailed a stem to fellow BF last week, checked the tracking and it says it shipped on the first and was received on the second back to the shipping place? What?

The "icy roads in CO" reported by my mother extended literally to the town of Boulder itself. The last two miles of the trip.

We made it in one day and survived, amazingly.

It locks based on where your FTP is set- I believe Garmin lets you set and indoor and outdoor FTP.

I have my FTP on TrainerRoad set at 8% less than what intervals.icu says it is. Also train strictly in ERG on it

I'm not sure I ever want to fly again. DIA is an absolute ****show, and if you don't like your catalytic converter, then by all means, park at the airport.

Yeah so we learned. The former, not the latter, yet. AG's survived when we parked there to go to the northeast.
