Addiction 2023.4

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

And my thinking is that with 10 bikes, having extra tires is cheap insurance. Indeed, just a week or two ago, I had to replace the rear tire on the Litespeed and I already had one. Now I just have to wait for black GP5Ks in 25mm to go on sale somewhere for less than $50!

Nah, pretty sure they bleached it. This wasn't too long before BttF.

I got the results of my gallbladder scan today but the next step hasn't been communicated to me. I suspect tomorrow I'll get a call. It was an abnormal result and can be one of 2 things. Most likely removal will be suggested. I don't want to go through surgery but it will very likely eliminate the pain. It is laporoscopic surgery with no overnight stay required. I will be so happy to eliminate 1 of my problems. I've been putting up with this for 18 months.

Remember, though - as you see him in 1985, he's supposed to be about 60.

I don't even know where my gallbladder is. I guess it must be healthy.

Hey man unless your name is Jonas Vingegaard or Tadej Pogacar, there's always someone who is making better numbers than you are. There are guys around here that can put me through the wringer. Not many, but still
