Addiction 2024.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wow that totally is the same tune. A bit subtle, but definitely a cover. I did not know the original. Thanks for sharing!

This is the first thing I think of when I hear/read the phrase "Up All Night"

We watched this a LOT back then because reasons. A lot of the young ladies spinnin' that Slaughter would look like this.

Same. If hair was involved, I guess Def Leppard was my pick. Def Leppard actually put on a killer concert.

Ready for the Solstice ride
Forgot to start Strava so it didn’t happen. Still it was a nice little pootle around the park with a total of 189 other riders. Followed by beer and chips with a friend at a nearby pub. All and all a good evening.

I think I'm still 6'2", I was the last time I was checked years ago. I'm about 50 pounds lighter than I was in high school. And a LOT weaker.
