Addiction 2024.2

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. I already have my first question for the class: Will this affect my watts?

Yes, if the T bros are right. You'll have to add more plates to your squat bar to compensate.

I try not to complain about what people get paid to do jobs I wouldn't want to do on a dare.

Chill ~75 min on the MTB this morning, climbed up out of the thick marine layer to a local open space (Mission Trails), largest in the city limits. Nice out!

Was he still in prison tho? I thought he got out a couple years ago.

Prostate cancer, reportedly. In junior college, OJ played against my big brother, also a running back. Brother died a couple months ago.

I guess I stopped paying attention at some point, kinda assumed he was on a golf course somewhere. Did he wind up in prison for that sports memorabilia situation?

Spent 9 years in Nevada state prison, paroled in 2017. He was released on the same day as the Las Vegas Massacre. That was a coincidence, or so we were told.

Supposedly someone stole some of his sports memorabilia and he took it back by force. Essentially armed robbery and kidnapping.
