39 british pounds, plus shipping. there's also a long-sleeve version for 45 pounds...

You're the one paying for it, who cares what I think. I'll bet I have stuff you don't think would be worth the money I paid. If you like it...screw everyone else.

That is a decent price for a "Pro" jersey.
If you are really a Merckx fan, go ballsy and try to get a wool version, like he wore..

Bear in mind that Molteni was an Italian sausage maker that was forced to shut down because their products were deemed "unfit for human consumption".
I'd only consider it because of Merckx - but I'd insist on a longer zip.

Even if it's not the authentic jersey (it looks like made of modern material), they don't make jerseys for the old teams very often. It's like trying to find a team Discovery 2005 jersey two years from now. It's going to be aweful hard to find or you'll pay a hefty price for it on Ebay. If you miss this opportunity, you may never find another one. On top of that, $70.- for that jersey is not a bad price, if it's licensed that is. Most team jerseys are sold at somewhere around $80.-. Team Discovery, $100.-.

That jersey is awesome, most "roadies" will know which cyclist use to wear that jersey so you will be "cool" and the lovely car drivers won't care but they sure won't miss you with it being orange buy buy buy
