OK what do I do? LBS.
I noticed a creaking sound on a couple of recent rides, so I decided to see what I could see.
When I checked the tightness of the chain ring bolts, I discovered two loose and one stripped. The crankset was purchased from and installed by the LBS on a used frame I recently (within the past two months) purchased - it is Campy Chorus.
I have tried to be very loyal to my shop as the folks are very nice and I continually spend my money there. I hate to ask them to replace as required because they are so nice. What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Maybe one shouldn't do business with folks who become friends.

I'm not sure I see the dilemna here. You should go to the shop and tell them what the problem is. If it was their fault, they are obligated to replace it and if they are as nice as you say they should have no problem making you happy. Good luck.
