Help w/ Specialized Identification...
As a newbie to biking, and getting bored with my new Trek Navigator, I'm looking to try a road bike--without spending a fortune. A nearby LBS has a used Specialized road bike for sale (not a Specialized dealer.) The bike is a flat blue color with what looks like "AGL" or "AG1" on the frame. It has an eight gear cassette and a 2 chain ring with shifters on the brake levers. It looks to be in good shape. Do you have any idea what vintage this bike may be and also its value? He is asking 300 bucks. Thanks for the help.

If it has 'brake' shifters doesn't sound vintage to me, sounds like that is STI. Did the frame say anything on the top tube? It might be an 02 allez, though the blue on is blue and white? With a triple up front...I'll dig up the spec site
Well I can't find much as far as flat blue goes..need more info?
