Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Castelli YPro3 bibshort made in the USA??

Just bought a pair of these from US dealer. The tag says made in the USA.

I thought these were made in Europe somewhere.

Anybody seen this before?

I care because I am having a major chafing problem from where the middle pad is sewn
into the side pads. Even using assos chamois cream. Seems that the seam there is rubbing me the wrong way where my legs meet my crouch.

Maybe not that "good" after all. Just wanted to make sure these are not knockoff's.
Then again if they were, don't think they would be stupid enough to put the wrong
"made in" tag on them.

Nice shorts but the most revealing pair I own. They're pad stops short of your manhood and the only thing between you and the world is a thin piece of fabric. Not a short you want to wander around in public.

No personal experience, but some Castelli stuff is made in Italy and some in the US. To complicate matters, I've heard that the sizing runs differently depending on the country of origin!

Walk backwards. In time, they will understand.

I have the same bib shorts and theyre made in USA too. Great shorts, nothing but good things to say about them and i get no chaffing and use the same chamois creme you do. Maybe youre manhood runs high, but mine is cradled nicely in the cotton "pad?" in the front of the chamois.
