If i flipped my stem I would not be able to walk for a week..........:(
|
If we don't flip the stem, we may as well be riding recumbents. Or you may as well put fenders on that Cervelo touring bike.
You want comfort? Try a Lazy Boy... Or a banana bike with ape hangers. the above veiws are intended for entertainment purposes only |

Ok....
I flipped the stem and I'm feeling better on the bike. I've had 4 stems on and off of it now. It's been the one part the fit I haven't been able to get right. Today, on ride number two... I think I got it. So if it was said in jest...so be it! It worked for me! And I smoked the two old roadies on the bridge this morning! So there! |

of course back when we had REAL stems, that wasn't an issue. just slide it up or down till it was right. you could even gradually adapt to a more aero position by slowly lowering it a 1/2 inch or so at a time over a couple of weeks.
Steve Who is busy ducking the flaming arrows headed his direction in the next few minutes. :) ps Who also likes the miniskirt theory... |
