I was at the LBS today and saw this beautifully maintained older bike with its original Suntour components on it, down to the hubs. It was about a 6 or 7 speed with friction shifters, and it was this burgundy color (frame mfg forgotten) with new gold handlebar tape. The only thing current on it was the tires. A nice fluted seatpost. Lugged front fork with that huge sweeping rake ... just beautiful. A tiny bit of rust on some parts, but really clean all around.
The lady had it for about 21 years. Pretty darn cool. I'd love to still have the exact same road bike with the same components on it for that long.

Is Suntour any good? I have Suntour friction shifters and Suntour FD. Thats about it but was just wondering since I never heard of them.
