I had the priviledge...
...this past Saturday of riding in a group that included Bob Gilmore of Ludlow, VT, who is one of the 24 cancer survivors, researchers, and oncologists chosen to ride in the Tour of Hope. Bob's story, along with those of his 23 team mates, can be found at https://www.tourofhope.org/team/2005_riders/gilmore.htm. It was interesting to hear him tell of the selection process, the training (including individualized Charmichael training programs), and the ride iteself -- much more interesting than talking about gas prices. Out of thousands of applicants, the 24 individuals chosen must all be exceptional peaple with exceptional stories to tell. I'm looking forward to following the tour through the journals that will be posted by the riders on the tourofhope.org web site.
