Portland riders: anyone up for a ride this weekend? (9/17 or18)

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yo G-man - I'll be getting out for a couple short ones this weekend - 30-35 miles on the flats. How's 10 am Saturday from the KMART lot at I-5 and Tualatin Sherwood Road sound?

After the Torture last month, I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Cracked my tailbone in Hawaii and spent a total of 3.5 weeks off the bike. Have had 4 short rides since getting back on but am in no way back to 100%.

Love to ride with ya if this works. Let me know...

I'm up for an early ride tomorrow. Sunday.

Anyone interested in riding from Lake O.? Run up to PDX. Hit some hills and return.

Flexible for other loops too.

Looks like something came up for me tomorrow, so unfortunately I won't be able to make it then, either.
