Weird Jersey Thread

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

As anyone who knows me personally will tell you I have a bizarre obsession with monkeys, they are the coolest animals ever, therefor even though a touch on the ugly side this jersey is perfect for me.
I just know not to mess with monkeys - especially chimpanzees.

Some of the locals around Lawrence Livermore should get that nuke jersey. I like it.

Supply and demand. In other words, they are expensive because enough people are willing to pay that much money.

If you think you can make an adequate profit selling cheaper jerseys, then go for it.

I believe the materials and the dye sublimation process, combined with relatively short runs, all contribute to the cost. Just looking at a jersey vs. a t-shirt, there's a lot more that goes into the construction of a jersey.

Anyone know the deal on Primal jersey sizes?

Performance Bike shows them as being American sized (a XXL would be 50-52; that would fit me). Nashbar shows them as Euro sized (an XXL would be 44-46; that would NOT fit me).

Good riding,
desmobob

You can find the official size chart at primalwear.com. There is more to jersey size than just the chest. You should try them on before buying. Primal Wear jerseys are pretty easy to find in bike shops.

I have this one:

I really like it; wife not so impressed, but she wasn't a 14 yr old boy in the 70s either. I'd start "Dark Side Velo Club" just so we could race in them. Also have to say, the primalwear jerseys are very comfortable.[/QUOTE]

By far the coolest graphics on a jersey ever I love mine but dont wear it too much because of the heat and lack of visibility.

Chimps are scary as ****ake mushrooms. I read an article about a guy who had two chimps and on one of their birthdays he gave one cake (not making this up) and the other got jealous and killed him. He immediately went for the genitals and then the face.

Lesson: don't play with chimps.

"weird jersey" thread?

i'll submit this one, from bikejerseys.com. nothing will confuse your friends and neighbours like advertising the Medellin, Colombia lottery.

when you win the medellin lottery, do you get a free kilo with your giant novelty cheque?

I have the socks. I'm too straight to wear the jersey however.

I never really got into wierd cycling clothing. The South Park Cartman jersey i have reserved at the local LBS will be the first non team issue jersey i will own. I like to go crazy with the accessories like goofy socks or helmet covers on century rides....
