Anyone do or doing the Tour de Poway?
Giving this some serious thought. It takes place October 2nd. It will be my first organized ride. They have a few different options for lengths. The full blown 100, metric century and I think a 50 and 25 mile option. If I do it it will be either the 100 or metric century. My longest ride so far is a 50 miler but I have been averaging 45 miles a day for about the past 2 weeks when I started riding again after about a 9 month layoff.
I just don't want to do the metric and finish and still have gas in the tank wishing I had tried the 100. Being my first race though I am kind of leaning toward the metric.

Is it a race or a ride? If it's just a ride...go for it, centuries are not that hard, just tougher on the back side. Eat!
