I lost 6.5 pounds today!

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Congrats on the bike; very nice. I like the yellow bar tape idea to go with leading yellow on the frame. Go for it.

Very nice bike! I'm riding the Tour de Cure here in May. Hope your ride goes well and you raise lots of $$$$. What distance are you riding? And will you be doing said riding on that bike?

I'm currently riding a 1988 Bridgestone - so this will be a huge step up - I'm scheduled to ride my first century - I have my milage up to 130 per week. But I still have yet to put in 60-70 in one day.

Sweet bike by the way!

No it's not - it's ugly as sin. The photo is a negative image. Here's what it really looks like. It's a '98 Maillot Jaune. Got a deal on the frame I couldn't pass up, regardless of the ugly purple.

Ahhh, tricky. You can always take it to get painted.

Nice ride. I would go blue with the tape - yellow gets dirty quicker. Plus, blue would match those sweeeeet tires. Maybe this saddle?...

Dare you to paint and tape it like that
Man that would be one complex paint job but awesome if you pulled it off.

Put Yellow on one side and blue on the other ... that would be somewhat unique.
