In an earlier thread I talked about riding gear for the fall season, and several of you asked for some photos. So, having some time this morning, I have put together the first-ever "OCP BF Fall Fashion Show" thread.
I went down to my basement cycling room to select some combos for various temps this fall....
Above we have use of warmers, both arm and leg warmers used with a standard bib for just slightly cooler rides.
Below is a sample of layering with a vest. I love wearing a nice colorful vest over the top of a plain long-sleeved jersey.
Next up, bib knickers, a must for the Fall, combined with a basic Skinfit long-sleeved jersey for a clean, no frills look as crisp as the autumn air!
You say it's getting a little colder? Below we have an example of a full wind tight, complete with Trek woolies to keep the toes warm. On top, a heavier example of a long-sleeved jersey. Don't forget a nice Craft base layer under there, and for added OCP points, leave the jersey zipper open slightly so that the CRAFT label can be seen up there!
And finally, an example of full cold gear for me.
Below you'll see the top layer, from the Trek balaclave on the head to the full-finger gloves and booties. A good winter riding jacket is your best friend, but remember, you can layer as many things under that and the wind tights as needed. Of course in OCP land, only the outer layer is the one that really counts!
So there you have it.
Some examples in the first-ever Fall Fashion Show here at BF.
Now before you make fun of me remember this--I actually took the time to do all this today, indicating how little a life I actually have!
So now all I have to do is decide what to wear on my ride later this morning!

Let me test posting a picture here first, since I;ve never done that before.

Beth, Bibi and I will be more than happy to dress you the morning of the next ride.
In fact, I might recommend a dress rehearsal the night before.
I'd be happy to be your 'stylist'.

I'm going to need to stock up on the cold cold stuff. Now, with your superior fashion knowledge, I won't look as stupid as I usually do!
And dex, buddy, you're not riding with me in THAT I think I'm going to let the Sponge's soak you up on this one
