Computer that will fit my bars?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Computer that will fit my bars?

So i just got a new road bike and the handlebars are flattened near the stem. "wing shape"

Because of the longer distance around, the computer i got (cheap performance A-08) will not mount on them.

Any suggestions for a computer that will fit. All I really want is speed and a clock. Cadence would be nice but cheap would be nicer.

thanks

Brian.

What kind of bars are they?... Are the Cinelli's?... If so then there is an extension that you can buy to mount the computer to... If they are non-integrated bars (the bars and the stem are not one piece) then there are other extensions available as well...

Get a Sigma BC1600, you can change the mounting bracket so that you can mount it on the stem rather than the bars. You can get a cadence attachment for it too. There are not super expensive and really easy to use.
