BHH: any chance you could do us a Topo chart for the Bear Mountain climb?

The 'Great' Hill in CP is just that. A hill. Not to say it doesn't kick my ass on occasion. But still, it's just a hill!
Looking forward to/dreading the Palisades on the MS Tour.

Which would make it a Cat. 4 climb in euro speak?
Its no point discussing the climbs in an around NYC when we have people on this forum climbing Mt. Ventoux, Alpe d'Huez, Col de Galibier, Col de Tourmalet...
Regarding Harlem Hill, I try to climb that hill using a 53x15 and extend it vs. trying to get it over with asap.
But, if you are racing in CP then 35kph over that hill is not out of the question...I would think? Don't know for sure, never raced.

EDIT: I'll do the "full kit & coboodle" for the Bear Mtn route. The map I generated for those others is just an "overview" map. It can print some serious stuff.

I got just the east coast for $50. Its pretty cool but I'm sure Google Earth will add some elevational stuff at some point and it will probably be better because of the satelite photography. You can link it to a GPS device too but I don't.

I ride both central and prospect parks, neither has much of a hill but there is a steeper, but shorter hill in Prospect park.

It already has a lil elevation stuff. If you mouse over an area it lists the elevation at the bottom of the screen.

So you punch in the route on the computer - you don't have anything on the bike? That would explain how you would do Bear Mt. tonight. I thought you must have some spotlight (and ba11s) to do that ride at night!
