Looks fast just standing still. Love the paintjob and that rear disc is very sharp. Does that frame have a carbon seatstay like the B2?

merlinextraligh 10-14-05 12:41 PM

nice bike. You might want to put a tube with a standard length in the valve stem, it will be a lot easier to pump up.

Treespeed 10-14-05 12:42 PM

Another ho-hum plain, time trial bike. Doesn't anyone do anything original or stylish anymore. ;)

I have to go wipe the drool off of my keyboard now.

Nice. Very nice...or as they say around here:
Hurä-mega-geil!!!!

(Trust me. It's a compliment.)

craigery 10-14-05 01:04 PM

Awesome. Especially the rear wheel.

Hey thanks guys, the paint job is inspired by our team kit which is orange with green to blue flames just like the ones on the bike. I took it out for an initial spin today and man is thing so much faster and comfortable than the LOOK 381 I tried to convert to a TT bike.

I plan on relpacing the rear tube when this one goes flat, the long stemmed type was all I had on hand when I put the bike together.

The 575 wasn't my first choice but I was in the used market and finding a Campy compatable disc wheel is next to impossible. It seems to be a pretty solid unit and the hub is very high quality. I got this one in barely used condition for 3bills including shipping.

Wow, that bike is so attention-grabbing, it should have its own theme music. I like it!

ViperZ 10-14-05 06:54 PM

Hotness to the max!

Why not the fork too?

sirshane13 10-14-05 06:59 PM

skinnyone 10-14-05 07:03 PM

2roadies... Stunner... Likey..

If I can... Just one sugegstion.. could you get the fork painted green...

skinny 10-14-05 08:03 PM

Nice bike. Can you tell me how you sized the bike? What size road bike do you ride and how did you calculate the correct size TT bike? Thanks.

CPcyclist 10-14-05 08:21 PM

That is a cool ride who made the Disk and where did you get a deal like that.

thewalrus 10-14-05 08:43 PM

The playing card is pretty neat but I'm waiting for somebody to paint a black disc wheel with one of these:

Thanks guys I really love the look and it's nice to get some positive reactions!

Why not the fork too?

The frame was used and the fork is cut down to zero stack height, I'm still playing with the position and if I can get this fork to work I'll have it shot as well

The disc is a Renn 575 and I bought it off of the TXBRA web site. It was used but there weren't even any scuff marks on the braking surfaces so it hadn't been used much. I had the graphics made and put them on myself.

The frame is a 54 with a 54 tope tube and I normally ride a 55 to 55.5 top tube for my road bike. When I got this thing put together I though geez this thing is tiny but it fits perfect and is pretty comfortable. My coach suggested the size range from 54 to 55 max on the top tube.
