Finally complete with race wheels, Garmin Edge 305 HR/CAD. Crank is about to be replaced by Shimano R700 compact.

I bought this in a swap meet a few weeks ago from the Jelly Belly team manager:

I am not sure of the model (but I think it is Mitis) or the year, but it has a full record gruppo with the exception of a chorus crank.
It now has Ksyrium Elite wheels, a new saddle and bar tape. I will post more photos when I make them.

I ordered a 57cm Orange Orca frameset a while ago and wanted to know if other folks here are having the same product delays that I am. I was told that the problem was paint production in Spain and that only 20 frames a day were coming out. The first shipment of Orange Orcas was supposed to have arrived on 3/10 but my size was not in that batch. What have you all heard? Thanks.

Hum I didn't order Orange but my 60CM Orca, White/Black, is supposed to arrive this week; Wed-Fri time frame. Is this an Orange only paint issue?

You guys are all killing me. A year ago I was perfectly happy with my $1700 aluminum frame, ultegra equipped Orbea Dauphine. Now I'm drooling over these beautiful Orcas. At the very least, I think it's time to upgrade the stock wheel set!
This is the downside in having a bike bought for you by your wife. She's not so understanding when you want to flip it for something better one year later!

From what I've read on other forums, yes, everybody is waiting on everything but white.

I would have liked to have seen the blue in person before I went with white. In the end I figured white will be a classic/desirable color and easier to sell in the future if I don't like the bike.

Thank you guys for answering the question about the bronze color. It appealed to me but to match the outfit and components will be hard, I wish they go for a silver.

My LBS called today and said my Orca (white 60cm) was in so I picked it up on the way home tonight. It took exactly 10 days from the time I placed the order to get here (Oregon). It was too dark to ride very far but I did a quick 5 miler and the bike is a real joy to ride. My camera batteries needed a charge so I will post a few pics at a later date.
While I was waiting for my bike to be finished I looked at a bronze Orca again but in Sun light this time. The bronze metallic paint reflects the light but I think the black wheels this bike had don't go very well with bronze and carbon paint scheme; that is if you really care about things like that.
So in general I think Orcas look good no matter what color you get. I am really impressed with the quality of the paint job on my bike. I looked really hard trying to find some irregularities in the finish but I haven't found any yet.

Hello All, I'm really considering buying the New Orca, but am concerned that the 48 cm has a 69.3 deg head tube angle, and I don't want anything that feels sloppy in a fast / tight group. Is any body out there on one already?
