Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Software developer (PHP, Java, MySQL, C++, Perl), and keeping an eye out for a more challenging position, possibly project management, too.

I am a 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher with a Law degree. Most of my bicycle related expenses are taken care of by my team. I ride for a team that is funded through a youth center. The director is using bike racing as a diversion for inner city kids and supports a category 1-2 team so that we can mentor the kids and show them what is possible through training and hard work. We all have careers and race for fun. We do local and regional races and most of us have sacrificed work at one point to try and be pro bike racers.

Laser diagnostics engineer. I work for a national laboratory that does secret work so don't ask much more from me.

And no, I don't work at Area 51... I work at Area 27 sometimes.

Right now I'm just running, biking, going to the gym and having a hell of a good time!

The good time part means spending a lot more time with my family.
