The ultimate tire?
Anybody have any experience with the Tufo tubular clincher tires? Combined with their sealant they are supposed to be very flatproof, very comfortable, very light, very high milage, no need for fixing flats anymore, and in case of the exeption which confirmes the rule, they can be ridden flat. Very low resistance also. I just bought a pair of new Armadillos, so.. it's gonna take me a while before I can try them.

tufo's are AWESOME tires. Very popular in the cyclocross world where you need to run lower psi and avoid pinch flats. I call them the lazy-man's tubulars!

They have a tubular clincher, which you can mount on any clincher rim. They don't seem to have an inner tube neighter. I don't mind the lazy aspect of it, I love it.

Yes, the tubular/clinchers are what I use and affectionately refer to as the lazy man's tubie. MUCH better than the 2 day drama of tubulars!
