Flyte bikes - soliciting opinions/reviews
Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Flyte bikes (I believe Flyte was formerly Airborne)? They're running some promotional in which one model (SRS-2) is selling for $1,500 and another (SRS-3) is selling for $1,300. Both are aluminum frames and come equipped with Ultegra 10 speeds and Easton wheels (not sure which model) and FSA parts. I would especially appreciate any comments and/or reviews from owners, other than the two on www.roadbikereview.com.

Thanks in advance.

Flyte did use to be Airborne. The change in names came about because the name was licensed from Huffy and the licensing agreement ran out so they couldn't sell in the USA under the Airborne name anymore. From what I have heard and seen they do make nice bikes. I came very close to getting one myself and still kind of wish I had.

SRS-2 will be my next bike. Very pleased with the Airborne I have, so might as well stay with who I know and trust. They come packed well and ready to ride in minutes. Good warranty, good replies to emails from Dan and Jason there when I have questions.
