Full fitting

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Full fitting

Well I just got my clipless pedals in, and I was playing around with em and I noticed my heel striking my rear derailer....would a full fit (and thus short crank arms) correct this problem?

11 1/2 US and as far as I can tell yes...almost everything on the bike is still stock. And the reason I'm just noticing is because I wanted to fix a form problem where my ankle kinda twists on the stroke

does it hit while you are riding or are you just playing around with the shoe and the pedal while you are off of the bike?

I wear a 10.5 and with the chain on the small rear I can make my shoe hit the deraleur while I am off the bike. On the bike it is not a issue

Rotate the cleat. You're riding in a very very duck footed position.

say WHAT? YOu mean the FD?

How are you able to reach the RD while spinning...
??

I would assume your touching the front so adjust the cleat position so that it doesnt touch it. Also what kind of pedals/shoes do you have? If there is alot of float, you might want to get different cleats to compensate for that(I hear you can do this with Look cleats, like red/black/grey...)

Good luck
