I am absolutely dancing around my office with live web cams showing gobs and gobs of snow in the mountains. I feel this winter will be one of the best in years. Along with my new found love of commuting to work, I get all the miles I need on my bike, but will now be blessed with weekends of driving to the hills for a few runs.
I can ride all week to work, ski on the weekends, spend my off days letting the body heal, wax my skis, and work on my new Ti machine. I love it when it all comes together.
Life is good.
Who else is looking forward to a fun filled winter?

Me! I've got my new (well used off Ebay) Volkl 724 Pro's sitting in my bedroom awaiting their first ski trip. Probably Whiteface in January, hopefully some other places more local before March, then Park City, UT in March (already paid so I'm definitely going). I can't wait. All that plus my studded tires arriving yesterday and I'm just itching for the real winter to start. I may regret saying this the first time I wreck on the ice

I've waxed, stripped, p-texed, waxed, sharpened and re-waxed my snowboard over 2 months ago in anticipation of this season. I might have to strip & re-wax it again depending on the temperature of opening day.
I'm still lookin for a Cervelo frame to buildup this winter.

Winter sucks.
Anyone know of an opening for a talk radio show host in a warm-weather climate?!
I really need to move.
