Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Liotta Road Bike

Hey just found this forum and have a question about a bike I purchased. It was made by Gino Liotto of Italy. Has anyone heard of this maker. I haven't been on a road bike in nearly 12 years but just couldn't pass buying this bike at a yard sale for $65. The owner said it was custom made for him while he was stationed in Italy 17 years ago. It has a Campy Gran Sport complete group on it that is near perfect condition. The bike fits me very well and I have put nearly 100 miles on it since Sunday. The frame quality needless to say is nothing short of being a piece of art. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

there are so many regional custom builders in europe. I'm sure it's a great bike but no, never heard of it.

Apparently their web site is "sito in costruzione" or under construction:
