Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Alan Bike Frames

I am in the market for a new frame and stumbled across ALAN. I have found that they were pioneers in the use of Al in bike frames but the early frames were flexy to say the least.

Their new frames look quite good and use nice tubing, but I am curious to find out how they ride. I have spent a few hours searching the web for reviews but have come up with little.

Has anyone owned or currently owns a newer (2002 onwards) ALAN bike? If so I would be interested to hear your feedback, good or bad.
