Redbull race video

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pretty cool but nothing special about that...I have done those types of speed on the Six Gap Century in GA. My mind and body was shot and I was doing 55+ mph downhill. Plus we are passing cars....

PS How do you become one of the 21 of nations best cycling descenders? I wanna do that for a living.

I've decended Tuna a bunch of times and it's not as fast as Stunt nor as technical as Decker Canyon. Still this will be a road rash fest with guys riding well over their heads!

There were no 'real' roadie pros in the race, as they have much bigger fish to fry, was won by mountain biker Myles Rockwell.

I just love being old, and no longer having any desire to do this sort of thing! You go, kids! The Grouchy Old Codgers' Society will be cheering you on from the comfort and safety of our slightly-more-upright riding positions.

Marty Nothstein did it. He's the US National Keirin champion, and has two medals in Olympic track cycling. Only finished 16th though.
