Check my weave

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well I picked up my new ride today. 06 Specialized Tarmac Expert. I just never could get a good fit with the Cervelo and figured I would go back to what I know....Specialized. I was in for a surprise when we opened the box. The finish is just beautiful. Not the same ole, same ole weave. See what you think. Pictures REALLY do it no justice

I like the weave. The new Orbea Opals have a weave similar to this.

The velo was a 54 and I guess I needed a 56. Just not as flexable as I used to be. I fit on the bike fine by the numbers but my lower just disagreed...Oh well.

Very nice! I like the style of the Tarmacs these days, they're so curvy in all the right places.

And you really can't get much better than SLs. Congrats, man. Cool purchase.
