Do you Like Lemond Bikes?
I just got a Lemond Zurich. I think it has a great ride and looks really cool. Anyone out there have an opinion on Lemonds and maybe post a picture? I'll take a picture of my ride very soon.... :D

lemonds are the best imho
1) quality frames, quality tubing, quality designs/geometry 2) classy looking graphics/paint 3) reasonably priced (they COULD charge more and still sell them--I just think Trek is so used to their HUGE output that Lemond line looks small to them), some of the best deals, imho |
I LOVE Lemond bikes.
I don't have one but I've ridden a couple. I'm 6'4" and the long top tube characteristic of Lemond geometry suits me to a tee. I can stretch out real nice and it's just . . . . . . heavenly. :) And the Reynolds 853 steel is top notch stuff. |
One good thing about them: Not everybody has one.

A Lemond is what I want .... steel please.

Rad has a couple of Lemonds. One is a MJ and one is the mysterious Tete that all of the BF group wants to see.

I've had 4 total. My first was a '02 Poprad, which I loved. It inspired me to get the '98 Maillot Jaune. Which in turn led to the mysterious '04 Tete de Course, which I've had for 17 months but have yet to ride.
Along the way, I also owned a '99 Buenos Aires frame that I never built and eventually sold. And, I have a custom made fairing on my roof rack that has the Lemond logo on it. So yea, I'm invested. |
I have a MJ and I am in the process of building my Poprad back up for an off season beater/ back up CX bike. So I love my Lemonds.

My pride and joy. It's undergoing an upgrade this winter. Stem and saddle are going to be replaced. Thinking about putting on a flight deck computer also.

I don't own one, but think they may be the classest American made bicycle.
|
We like Lemonds! Our Buenos Aires and Zurich up on Page Mill (Bay Area).

Yes. Have a Lemond Reno 1998. I wanted the Zurich at the time but couldn't justify the price.
|
Lemond Sarthe. RAD wanted to come break it in for me but I declined for fear he would keep it.

'06 Reno. I've got a total of about 35 miles on it. Great fun, and even though the frame's all aluminium, the ride seems pretty smooth, probably owing to it being a 61cm.
And what BillyD said. |

I bought a LeMond Zurich this past May and have put about 4000 miles on it and I can honestly say I'm in love. I guess I could say it was the nice paint job, or the Ultegra 10, maybe even the carbon/steel contruction, but the thing that really turns me on is the pump peg--do you know how hard it is to find a bike with one of them these days.
