acronym overload, sorry but what does OCP mean?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's OCP ?

I finally figured out what "The Knave" is all about (so now I don't have to read those threads), but what's this term "OCP" that's being thrown about? Maybe there should be a Bike Forums FAQ?

Say it with me - all together now - "Obsessive Compulsive Posers"

P.S. - I bet "What's OCP" as a search phrase would return a multitude of threads.

I'm actually hoping that the OP has a perverse streak about him, and is just throwing another log on the fire ......

I never click on any thread with "OCP" or "Knave" in the title - excepting this one because I wanted to post this message.

These guys are funny...Obsessive folks think about their bikes and riding alot...could say that is most of us here, heck we are here in a forum talking about it.

Compulsive. You buy a bike that is above your abilities. or buy a part that is unnecessary but looks way cool.

Poser, pasting your rig on BF....

Should we start a ranking system where people post pictures and we rate their "OCP-ness" ? Kinda like the ratemypoo or hotornot sites?

Said the man who just bought a Serotta. Face it, you're in denial. Embrace your inner poseur.

That's brilliant. OCPers competing at posing. We could have categories of pictures - coffee shop shots, spotless drivetrain shots, the mystery bike paint job shot .... The possibilities are endless.

Cool! I lived in North Spokane (Mead) for 23 years until my unfortunate transfer to the Mid-West!
