Yeah it's not built yet. And the OO (original owner) is probably on this board. But I just got it and I'm crazy excited about it. Replacing an old worn out (literally) Cannondale frame from 1990. It's a beautiful frame...

I dont understand cannondales models. I know they have the frames like caad 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ect.. but some bikes (like the blue one above) say r3000, r600 or r1000 ect.. What is that? Is it still a caad 8? I never understood the R numbers. Also on there website it looks like they dont do that anymore. there is only caad x.

Well mine is kind of old. 1986 SR 600. Bought as a frameset in 86 and built with Shimano 600. Currently has a vintage Campy build.
edit: I can't upload pic files right now apparently. Don't know if it's on my end or BF. Will try later.

My '85 ST500 when I first got it, since this pick I swapped the stem for a 100mm and re-wrapped the bars in black, Nice ride.
I also replaced the tubes!! I think it must have sat for a decade or two!

I usually find C'dales to be a bit over-the-top with their paint/decals (no offense to the thread), but this is so simple and clean. Great job with it.
