Best time of year to sell a used bike
I'm planning on selling my 2004 cannondale r600 to finance a new bike. I'm not sure what time of year would be best to try to sell it though. I'd like to get the new bike in March, and I live in the NE and don't get much riding in between now and mid-March anyway. Would I get the best price by selling it now, or in the spring?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hrm, hard to say, are you planning on going through eBay or what? I think that eBay is a bit slower nowadays, at least at the bikes I have been looking at, there have been fewer bidders.

Now is a good time to sell as many people thinking about a new purchase will do so around the holidays - after spending a ton on their families and friends, it's time to buy something for themselves.
Spring is good too. Weather gets better and the season has people thinking about getting outside again.
I suggest listing it now and waiting. Maybe you'll get your price and if not, don't sell it.
