Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fuji Royale, bar ends? or change bar?

close to purchasing the fuji Royale, with the straight bar. any suggestions on what type if any on bar ends. I very rarely rode in the drops spent most of the time on the hoods, on my road bike.
I liked that position but for comfort and type of riding, this new style bike might work for me.

The Royale looks like a nice fast hybrid! I've got the large L bend barends on my hybrid.I like lots of handposition choices. But if you want something light for just climbing hills, www.performancebike.com has got some small ones that look comfortable. 50-1337c
