Cycling Shorts

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

you sure you want white shorts?

someone probably will post some horrible pics of why you might want to reconsider....

i think they tend toward a transparent effect that can be grossly revealing....

I believe Castelli makes some. Try looking at www.worldcycling.com for a pair.

Oh, and a +1 to what Ostuni said... yikes!

If you're gonna wear white cycling shorts, you might want to do everyone a favor and wear gym shorts over them! There's a reason most of them come only in black!

White shorts + road grime + rain = very bad look.

Only Robbie McEwen and the fdj.com team can pull off white knicks.

https://www.assos.com/

You'll also need to change to a white saddle to avoid dark skids on your ass.

In a couple of rides they will have dye from the saddle all over them. So whatever color your saddle, your pants will match.

Why does everyone assume that the original poster didn't already know this? Maybe he just wants to wear them to the mall.

Could he be the race winner? Remember when Edwin Moses won Gold at his last Olympics? Boy, he looked excited with his win!

Doesnt white get a little transparent when it gets wet? thus white for wet t-shirt contests. That would probably make white worse than red.

Just reading this thread made me laugh. I feel bad for the guy in the red/white 2nd from the left. Looks like he's all berries, not that I was looking.
