Anyone know anything about Aende?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone know anything about Aende?

I just scored an Aende TT frame on Ebay, and I'm trying to find out something about the company. All I know is they were around from 1978ish to the early 90s, somewhere in England, and they were built by a guy named Pongo (Braithwaite maybe?).

If anyone knows anything about them (like how to pronounce Aende ) I'd love to hear it.
